    Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Installing custom cabinetry, molding, countertops, and wood/laminate casework; must be able to install cabinets and countertops with the most difficult angles, dimensions, and sizes.
    • Oversee the installation team to ensure Company standards are being upheld.
    • Cut all moldings, scribes, and other intricate designs for jobs.
    • Complete most intricate cuts, miters, and bevels.
    • Communicates with contractors and homeowners in a professional manner.
    • Make final decisions regarding all work team members complete.
    • Develops and trains lower-level team members.
    • Determines the amount of WTF left for jobs and completes WTF sheets to include all items that need to be completed, made, or ordered.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Our company designs, builds, and installs high-quality custom cabinetry for our commercial and residential clients.


    Summary/Objective:


    The Estimator is responsible for estimating, planning, and problem-solving cabinetry projects. The estimator will work closely with sales/design to produce an accurate cost estimate of projects.


    Key Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Analyzes blueprints, specifications, and other project documents in detail to develop a cost estimate based on factors such as cost of material, labor, and vendor quotes for commercial cabinetry projects.
    • Uses mathematical equations effectively to determine the quantity of material needed by using width, length, and depth.
    • Sends written proposals to general contractors and provides timely, thorough follow-up to any questions or clarification on given cabinetry quotes.
    • Understands details of projects to collaborate with the customer and troubleshoot as needed throughout the progress of the project.
    • Communicates effectively internally between project manager, cabinet engineers, and production as well as externally, with the customer.
    • Coordinates with project engineers and production to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within the customers’ specifications.
    • Creates detailed and organized documentation of proposals, drawings, correspondence, and any other project information needed.
    • Reviews project budgets, profitability, and goals with project manager to develop the commercial sales team with a strategic mindset.
    • Prepares project documentation such as the tracking of important events, updating change orders, and all other administrative tasks needed for specific projects.
    • Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors and customers and often acts as a liaison between project manager and customer when needed to provide excellent customer service and availability to clients.
    • Recommends cost-reduction options using continuous improvement internally and negotiates with vendors to find any cost-savings externally.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience:


    • An associate’s degree with 1-2 related experience/training or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
    • 1-2 years in estimating and/or project coordinating in a similar field is preferred.
    • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications and basic knowledge of cabinetry, construction, and installation is required.

    Becks Quality Cabinets is searching for a Cabinet Finisher to join our growing team! Our company designs, builds, and installs high-quality, custom cabinetry for our commercial and residential clients.


    Summary/Key Objective:


    • Cabinet Finisher is responsible for staining, sealing, sealer-sanding, top coating, painting, mixing ingredients, and proper housekeeping of the Finishing Department.

    Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Must work in a safe, clean, and ethical manner at all times; keeping safety and functionality as a priority.
    • Spraying stains, sealers, primers, topcoats, and paints with various types of spray equipment.
    • Sealer sanding product by hand in between sealers, primers, and topcoats.
    • Prepping product for paints & topcoats using wax sticks, colored pencils, and other various materials.
    • Assessing materials & supplies & notifying the proper team members when supplies are running low.
    • Basic housekeeping to include blowdowns, sweeping, taking out the trash, proper disposal of rags, etc.
    • Assist in creating, revising, and implementing systems and procedures for the Finishing department.
    • Must understand and comply with all Lockout/Tag-out procedures
    • Must possess a continuous improvement mindset and improve efficiencies.
    • Other duties as assigned and needed.

    Preferred Education and Experience:


    • 2-5 years of custom cabinetry finishing experience is preferred.

    This is a full-time position with normal work hours of 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday. The position regularly requires an average of 40-50 hours per week, with overtime hours worked on Fridays, depending on workload. Flexible scheduling is available!
